About This Opportunity
The Global Training Initiative’s Online Research Academy is an intensive virtual program. The official page states students apply fundamental research methodologies to complete a dedicated college-level research project with direct faculty mentorship through regular online meetings. Orientation is June 29, 2026; research workshops run July 6 through July 31, 2026; graduation is August 7, 2026. Students who successfully complete the program receive an NC State program certificate and an evaluation letter from the faculty mentor.
