About This Opportunity
Raleigh Police Explorer Post 911 is a youth development program that introduces teens to the field of law enforcement. Cadets (ages 12 to 17) and Explorers (ages 14 to 20) attend weekly meetings on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30pm and participate in ride-alongs, training exercises, community service events, and competitions. The program builds leadership, discipline, and teamwork skills while exposing young people to careers in public safety.
