About This Opportunity

SECU Foundation’s People Helping People program allocates at least one $10,000 scholarship to each North Carolina local education agency for a senior planning to attend a UNC System university. Recipients are chosen by the district scholarship committee; the foundation does not accept direct student applications. Students must meet membership, academic, service, and financial-need criteria outlined in SECU materials (commonly including at least a 2.5 GPA) and coordinate with their high school counseling office.
