About This Opportunity
The WakeMed Junior Volunteer Program allows high school students ages 16 and older to gain firsthand experience in a healthcare setting. Junior volunteers assist with patient comfort, wayfinding, clerical support, and other tasks across WakeMed facilities. A minimum six-month commitment is required. Applications open periodically throughout the year, and accepted volunteers receive orientation and training.
